2008 MPAW Regional Meetings

In the spring of 2007 MPAW launched its first series of Regional Meetings. Regional meetings are events that include an educational speaker and a town hall style meeting. Due to their success last year, MPAW has decided to expand the meetings to include more regions around the state.

80 animal welfare representatives have already taken advantage of the MPAW Regional Meetings in Kalamazoo, Frankenmuth, and Boyne City*. These participants have learned valuable information about disease prevention and sanitation from a national expert, learned about MPAW's proposed professional standards and had the opportunity to network with other animal welfare groups in their area!
