In October 2004, during its first annual Animal Welfare Conference, the Michigan Humane Society (MHS) announced the formation of a comprehensive partnership for animal welfare organizations and animal advocates - the Michigan Partnership for Animal Welfare or MPAW. This formalized partnership is a first significant step toward a brighter future for the animals.Animal welfare organizations and their representatives from around the state are welcome and encouraged to join MPAW.
